Amadioha

The Igbo god of thunder and lightning, second only to Chukwu (the supreme being) in the Igbo pantheon. Amadioha is the patron of justice and is invoked to settle oaths, strike down liars, and bless the harvest. His sacred ram, white in colour, is offered at his shrines, and the silk-cotton tree (ọji) is dedicated to him. His Yoruba parallel is Sango.
