Wulbari

The supreme sky god of the Krachi and related Guang peoples, who originally lay so close to the earth that humans bumped into him as they went about their work. In one famous tale, an old woman's pestle struck him so often that he withdrew far above into the sky out of irritation, and that distance is the reason humans must now strain to reach him in prayer.
